Ramasser un tas de cailloux dans une rivière et le remonter un peu plus haut sur la montagne :
« C’est reparti pour un tour ». Petite promenade. Petite action, légère modification.
Un tas de cailloux comme il y en a tant ici qui bordent les champs, trace de la longue et lente répétition de l’action humaine, signe de son travail quotidien de la terre donc du paysage. Ici, un tas de cailloux déplacé, un tas de cailloux fabriqué, un tas de cailloux enterré, non par le temps mais volontairement.
Un échantillon. Mais un faux. Un objet crée de toute pièce. Une anomalie, peut-être. Faux vestige archéologique / vestige tout de même. Si la trace c’est la trace de quelque chose, le témoin d’une action qui a eu lieu en vue de… (s’abriter, se nourrir, se cultiver, mourir…), ici alors simple trace de lui-même.
Jouissance de l’acte vain et caché. Acte quand même, quand même tas de cailloux, seulement tas. Encore une belle journée.

Collect a pile of rocks from a river and carry it a bit higher up on the mountain.
“Let’s do it again”. A little walk. A small action, slight modification.
A pile of rocks—because there are so many here that border the fields, that trace the long and slow repetition of a human action, signs of daily work in the earth, and so the landscape. Here, a pile of displaced rocks, a fabricated pile of rocks, a buried pile of rocks, not over time but voluntarily.
A sample. But a fake one. A man-made object. An anomaly, perhaps. Fake archeological remnant/remnant all the same. If a trace is the trace of something, a witness to an action that took place in order to… (shelter, feed, cultivate, die…),
here, then, it is simply the trace of itself.
The pleasure in committing a vain and hidden act. An act nonetheless, still a pile of rocks, only a pile. Another beautiful day.
