ATTITUDES
C’est avec des formes multiples et déclinées : gestuelles, textuelles, occupationnelles, organisationnelles, sonores… que je zone autour des figures et définitions de notre société contemporaine.
Si les dogmes servent à savoir, comprendre et résoudre, bref à avoir l’esprit tranquille, on peut préférer alors se situer là où ne subsistent que doutes, équilibres et questions.
Sauvage, l’absence de : savoir, dire, devoir, faire.
L’espace est investi durant toute la durée de la biennale de Mulhouse comme lieu de travail, de rencontres, d’expositions, lieu d’occupations. Un espace où des gestes, des attitudes, des éditions sont mises en regard dans une tension entre l’existant et le non-existant, le fini et le non-fini, dans un continuum donc, qui tente l’équation :
Edition/partition = performance
Gestes = textes
Performance = signe
Suggestion = oeuvre

It is through multiple and elaborated forms—gestural, textual, occupational, organizational, sonic—that I loiter around the figures and definitions of our contemporary society.
If dogmas help us to know, to understand and to resolve—in other words, to have peace of mind, one could prefer to be in the place where only doubts, questions, and fragile balances subsist.
The wild, the absence of: knowledge, speech, obligation, action.
The exhibition space over the duration of the Mulhouse Biennial is invested as a place of work, of interaction, of exhibition—a place of occupations. A space where gestures, attitudes, and occurences are examined as a tension between the existent and the non-existent, the finished and the non-finished, in a continuum that attempts the following equation:
Edition/score = performance
Gestures = texts
Performance = sign
Suggestion = a work of art
