Durant une vingtaine de minutes, celui-ci s’attache à réaliser une succession d’actions tel le poussé d’objet avec un bâton ou alors il tapote des pieds sur une harpe de piano ou gonfle des ballons de baudruche scotchés à des morceaux de verre pour jouer de la batterie. De ces actions apparentées au jeu, à la distraction ou à la musique résulte un récit sonore.
THE PLAYER
The Player is one figure among the multitude of characters in a constantly evolving mythology. Yet another one.
The Player offers for reinterpretation his role as a player. Or he can do something else entirely—he can wait, he can displace the game, non-sensically. The Player inhabited by tourism.
Over the course of twenty minutes, he commits to carrying out a succession of actions such as pushing objects around with a stick, tapping his feet on a piano harp, or blowing up balloons taped to pieces of glass to play the drums. These actions, akin those of play, of a state of distraction, or of music, result in a sonic narrative.
